Hello everyone! I’m Becca, a 25-year-old digital marketing executive who is delighted to be joining the Property Webmasters family. As I’ve just become part of the team here, I thought it would be nice if I introduced myself, meaning you can find out a little bit more about me and what I’ll be doing here at the company.
Born and bred in Guisborough, I first became passionate about creative writing while I was at university. Despite completing a Journalism degree with a 1st Class Honours, I knew immediately after graduating that that wasn’t the career path for me. But we’ll get into that a little bit later.
For me, there’s nothing better than getting home from work and having a nice, relaxing evening and settling down with a good book. I tend to read thrillers as it gives me something that I can really get my teeth in to. The best part is always the moment you figure out who is to blame or what the big secret is. And just when you think you have it sussed, the author throws a curveball in there!
Other than reading, I enjoy country walks, watching the F1 and dunking as many bourbon biscuits into a cup of tea as possible.
When I first finished my degree, there was a little part of me that didn’t really know what I wanted out of life. I knew I wanted to write and be creative, but I didn’t know what career would let me have the freedom to do that. After all, I was just a small fish in a big pond at this stage.
I applied for a wide range of jobs across a broad array of industries. One morning I received a phone call to say I’d secured an interview for an agency that offered digital marketing services. At the time, I didn’t know much about the field, but I went and spoke to the company with the promise of plenty of training and support being given. I ended up working for them for approximately 2 years, climbing my way up through the departments until I became a copywriter.
Getting a new job at a different digital marketing agency is where my knowledge and skills grew massively. I engaged in various aspects of the role, including SEO, content writing, link building, content marketing, social media and CRO. After around 2 years of developing myself there, here I am now at Property Webmasters.
The skills I’ll be bringing to the company are primarily SEO and content based. I’ll be drawing upon my analytical and creative abilities to help estate agencies and property professionals get the most out of their online presence. With this in mind, my job will be to ensure our clients are receiving the best possible service at all times. This includes working tirelessly to make sure results are delivered and gains are made across the board.
