Spread the Christmas Cheer
It’s now less than 4 weeks until Christmas, if you haven’t started your Christmas marketing then now is the time! Christmas is the perfect time for getting creative with your marketing efforts and to get personal with your customers to leave a lasting impression. Not sure where to start? Here are some marketing tips to give you a helping hand.
Did you know Christmas cards originated in London in the 1840’s
Show customers your appreciation by sending greeting cards. Sending greeting cards can create brand awareness and reminds your customers that you are still there and thinking of them. Don’t have time for handwritten cards? Or are handwritten cards too costly for the amount of customers you have? Then why not try sending E-cards, these have the same exposure, if not more and these can be made as interactive as you like.
Top Tip- Do you purchase from other companies? Don’t forget to send them a greeting card too! You never know who could be looking for your services.
Hosting an event will create brand awareness. This could be a public event such as a Christmas Party or charity event to attract large crowds. Or you may choose a small ‘invite only’ office gathering and invite customers for mulled wine and mince pies. Either way this will give you a chance to interact with your clients or potential clients to build relationships.
Everyone loves a competition and they are a great way to get noticed online. Run a competition where customers can win prizes for making a purchase or promoting your company. To do this, create a social media competition such as ‘like and share our page for your chance to win a free Christmas meal at a local restaurant’ Or ‘Make a purchase with us this month and be entered into a prize draw’.
We all love a Christmas special offer. Promote a limited time Christmas offer such as: ‘25% fee reduction until Christmas Day’. Advertise this online and offline so that anyone visiting your website are aware of your amazing offer, increasing the chances of a sale.
Send a Christmas newsletter to all customers. Let them know what you have achieved this year and anything new you may offer. Include your Christmas opening times so that customers know when they can contact you and they aren’t left waiting for a reply if your offices are closed.
Christmas is a great opportunity for marketing. Don’t overlook this and fall behind your competition.
