Hi there, I’m Stuart and I’m the new Developer here at Property Webmasters. As I’m a newbie, here is a small introduction about me and what I’ll be bringing to the company.
I was born and bred in Hartlepool and support the local football club – Hartlepool United (For my sins!). I have always had a keen interest in computing and website/software development. I studied Computer Science at Teesside University in Middlesbrough and graduated with a 2:1. I also enjoy reading blogs and news articles on new and current technologies.
At home, I am the father of two young boys, who were born just 15 months apart. They certainly keep me on my toes. It’s one of the most rewarding and exhausting jobs.
In my spare time, I enjoy watching and playing Football and the occasional round of golf. I also enjoy looking after my garden. I particularly love the reward of sitting out in the garden in the summer months, hopefully catching a tan. But we do live in the North East!
I’ve always had a keen interest in computers and such like. My Dad working in the IT industry helped me get a better understanding of it.
When I was growing up, the Internet was growing at such a quick rate.
I always remember the free internet you could get at home and the classic dial-up tone of a modem.
I remember being at school and sat in an IT lesson about HTML Tables and the role “Webmaster” was mentioned, that to me just sounded great. I then started to look at the inner workings of a website and started to learn more, paired with my college ICT course.
I’ve worked in the Industry for over 10 years and have worked on website projects for some Blue-Chip companies, as well as some reasonably sized companies.
I am looking forward to bringing my experiences and knowledge to my role at Property Webmasters. I am excited about the future of this company. I hope to offer my knowledge of software development to help make processes and future projects run as smoothly and efficiently as possible.
