Hello! I’m Georgia and I’ve just joined the Property Webmasters team this week as a Marketing Intern up until December! As a new member I thought it would be good to introduce myself so you can find out a bit more about me.
I’m 21 years old (22 in two weeks), I have recently graduated with First Class Honours in Business Management and I am trying to kick start my career in marketing, which is why I’m so excited for this opportunity to be working here with the Property Webmasters team for 12 weeks.
Outside of work I enjoy going out for food, going out with friends and family and I’m partial to a game of crazy golf. I love music and I love going to music events or festivals, my favourite place on earth is Glastonbury Festival! My favourite song is Mary J Blige- Just Fine, and I live my life by those lyrics, if you’re ever sad listen to them! I love to travel, my favourite trip was inter-railing around Europe for 6 weeks with a friend and ending the trip at Dekmantel Festival in Amsterdam (probably my second favourite place) meeting all my other friends!
The three things I enjoyed most throughout school and college were business, media and graphic design, finishing school I was confused as to what I wanted to do; graphic design at art college or business at sixth form? I decided to go with the sixth form route and took business, media and psychology to keep my options fairly open, also because I thought these three would help me if I was to pursue a career in marketing. I then went onto studying business management at university where my knowledge grew substantially, completing some modules in marketing, emerging technologies, enterprise in practice, sales, strategic management and CSR. It was there when I decided a career in marketing was definitely something I would enjoy.
I am hoping to bring creative, fresh, innovative ideas to Property Webmasters! As well as learn new things and gain much needed experience and so far I have already learnt quite a bit and I am only on my 3rd day!
I am keen to enhance the business in any way I can, as well as enhance my own skills and knowledge to help start my career! I will be gaining experience and learning more about topics such as content marketing, email marketing, social media, SEO, conversion rate optimisation and video marketing, as well as giving my own input and generating ideas.
