I’d like to introduce myself. My name is Simon Meek, and with over 3 years experience in the online marketing world, I will be taking on the role of Digital Marketing Executive at Property Webmasters.
Since I am new to the team, I thought it would be a good idea to tell you all a bit about myself and how I will fit into my role at this successfully expanding company.
Born in Bishop Auckland, raised in Ferryhill (County Durham), My digital career started in 2009 when I was at an in ‘between stage’ of my life. I just finished 6th Form and wasn’t sure if to pursue the univeristy path or proceed straight into the working life. With this in mind I decided to take a year out to decide what I would like to do in life and I studied IT at college.
Just a year later I decided to become a Teesside University student of Marketing and Advertising. During my three years of study, I learnt the fundamentals of marketing which would later provide me with the tools to become a successful digital marketer. From here I became interested in the digital marketing world as I am now passionate about discovering the ins and outs of how the internet works.
My digital knowledge flourished once I left university, I engaged in a digital marketing internship and other digital related jobs such as social media management, learning the ropes within a business environment, creating a portfolio skill set on SEO, design and development, which I could apply to future working environments. Now three years later I have became the Digital Marketing Executive at Property Webmasters.
As an experienced digital marketer, I will be bringing my advanced skill set to the job role which will include; Search Engine Optimisation, Keyword Research, AdWords Management, Social Media Management, Email Marketing, Analytical Analysis, Content Writing and much more.
As a Google Certified individual, I will bring my endless growing knowledge of the digital marketing world to the ambitious Property Webmasters team. Working alongside the project management team, design team and the development team, I am certain that the future of Property Webmasters is set to skyrocket.
Although I am passionate about all things digital, this is not all I do. In my spare time I love to go traveling, have a soft spot for animals – especially dogs and most recently I have started to learn a new language – ich spreche Deutsch.
